A native of Peru, Ana Calderon was born into a culture of music and art. From her father, a noted psychedelic folk musician, she has been passed a unique spirit of music and celebration.

Prior to her departure in 2009, Ana headed up LA- based record label Dim Mak. Working alongside Steve Aoki, she honed her DJ skills and threw some of the most notorious parties in LA and New York.

Today Ana is one of the most fun and sought-after DJs. She has hit the road with Radiohead as a tour DJ and DJ’d tours and parties for the likes of Daft Punk, Arcade Fire, Paul McCartney, MGMT, Florence & the Machine, The Strokes & LCD Soundsystem  and also shared the decks alongside Zoe Kravitz Elijah Wood, Alexa Chung, Zooey Dechanel, Michael Pitt, Devendra Banhart, Aziz Ansari, Questlove, and too many to list.

Ana has also DJ’d events for The Emmy’s, The Grammy’s, The Golden Globes, Coachella, Art Basel, NY Fashion Week, SXSW, MTV VMAS to name a few. Her client roster includes Audi, Amazon, Apple, Google, Burberry, Beats By Dre, Gagosian, Spotify,  Galore, VICE and more.

Ana's DJ sets spring more from feeling than formula. They pull from a wide spectrum of genres that include indie, classic rock, boogie, disco, select world tunes, garage, soul, R&B, hip-hop and pop.

Ana counts amongst her close friends crème de la crème influencers in the worlds of film, tv, fashion, art and music.

In addition to DJing Ana is also a much sought-after curator, music supervisor and talent booker. She also co-founded woman., a consulting agency’s that focuses on shifting Hollywood nightlife culture. She also co-foudned soteria., a safer spaces initiative for music festivals and large cultural gatherings.

In LA, Ana hosts two notorious events; the weekly Tuesday’s at Tenants and the monthly traveling world-music dance party, Nomerica.

Ana recently completed her training under Al Gore to be part o the internatonal Climate Reality Leadership Corps and continues to work in fightng for sustainability and environmental justce.
